If you are still, close, & observe them long enough, you start to notice they have personalities & quarks. You start to notice tiny details in their feathers, & how their body moves with each quick heartbeat. They hover in midair perfectly with wings often beating at 50 times a second! The smaller the hummingbird, the faster it beats its wings (highest being 80x a second!).
