Breastfeeding Bond is an 11in x 14in art print. Raising children in general has its challenges, breastfeeding being one of them. However, it is also as natural as breathing. Breastfeeding, when possible, fosters strong bonds between mother & baby, & offers numerous full-body benefits for both of them. After breastfeeding 2 of my own, I have become a strong advocate for mothers that choose to breastfeed as well. I wanted to celebrate the natural beauty of nursing children in a timeless, neutral palette. Creating this piece, brings back memories of holding my babies close, studying their face, singing softly to them, “walking the floor” with them until they would drift off to sleep, & even after realizing they were fast asleep I held them a little longer, cherishing every moment. It also brings back memories that make me laugh, like how “milk drunk” they looked. For all the breastfeeding moms out there, I hope this art encourages you & reminds you that you are doing great.
