Okie Family Market Mural

I had the pleasure of painting a homestead/farm mural for the owners of Okie Family Market, a locally sourced grocery store that opened in 2023. This family store has a couple of kids, & wanted the room at the back of their store to cater to kids so parents could shop with peace of mind while their kids had fun! This is a family owned store after all, & they wanted to serve families just like them with convenience in mind.

With every client, I ask what their “Must Haves” are. We discussed the elements & style they wanted to include, & I got to work on the digital mockup! Initially, the idea was to leave the door unpainted, however they loved the design so much, they asked if we could extend the mural to cover the door as well. The wall looks more complete with the door included in the mural, & the kids absolutely loved it! My favorite part are the playful lambs & the horses! What’s your favorite part?
