Makenzi & Garrett

Makenzi & Garrett chose a “Dip Kiss” moment in the aisle. To me, their painting is the epitome of just married bliss, romance, & timelessness!

The father of the bride came up to me during the reception & said he tried to convince his daughter to choose a larger canvas. Makenzi objected, as they were trying to watch the budget, but her father said something that resonated with me. I’m paraphrasing here, but he said, “The florals, the decor, the cake…all of it is temporary. But this painting will go home with them & will last for years. It’s worth it.”

Towards the end of the reception, I know couples must feel bittersweet that the incredible day they just had is about to end. I feel honored to create a tangible piece of fine art that they can enjoy long after it’s over. My hope is that each couple grows old together, & looks back on their painting fondly, hands feeling the texture of the canvas, saying “ Remember when…”,

Love is like a fine wine, & only gets better with time.
