Haley & Kyle

Haley & Kyle knew they wanted a live wedding painting scene featuring just the two of them on a relatively good size canvas. Their personalities & relationship was/is down to earth & full of love. Capturing that, along with the beauty of the florals & natural light of their venue, were a must!

They loved the idea of their guests partaking in the painting experience so they chose acrylic paint as their medium. During the reception, the party was on! Guests encouraged & hyped one another to step outside their comfort zone to paint, they enjoyed bonding over a new experience, & later some cracked jokes about the parts they painted. I like to channel my inner Bob Ross & make people feel at ease. Painting isn’t scary, but can be fun & even therapeutic!

I continued their painting in the studio & sent photos (including closeups & different angles) to the couple. Couples are welcome to request for minor adjustments at this time, but rarely am I asked to change anything. They loved it as is, so I proceeded to document & varnish the painting. We met in person & though couples see photos prior, it’s always better to see a painting in person!

Speaking of, if you want to see my work in person, you can catch me at the following upcoming events. I’d love to see you there!
